• The hirer shall ensure that they have received all relevant permissions required under the highway act 1971 – before the driver is directed to deposit the skip.
  • The hirer shall ensure that the skip is properly sited in accordance with these permissions at all times, and is not moved from the site without prior consent from Norton Skip Hire.
  • The hirer shall ensure that no fires are lit within the skip.
  • The hirer shall ensure that the skip is not filled any higher than the top of its sides.
  • The hirer shall ensure the skip incurs no damage aside from minimal wear & tear.
  • The hirer shall ensure that Norton Skip Hire are informed in good time that the skip is ready for removal or replacement.
  • Norton Skip Hire will remove or reposition the skip if required at anytime to do so by a highway authority or a constable under section 32 of the Highway Act 1971.
  • The hirer shall ensure that no waste falling within Section 3 (1) of the Poisonous Waste Act 1972 is placed in the skip without the written consent of the owner. If any waste belonging to said law is placed in any skip the hirer shall immediately give the notices required by said Section and send copies to Norton Skip Hire.
